GingerNut's band played their iffy little socks off at both their prison gigs. The guys were allowed to mingle with the inmates while in the entertainment hall. It was one of the best gigs they ever played, an experience that will last. The band had the girls on their feet, clapping and singing, while one was asked to join them onstage to sing.
The ladies of Cornton Vale Prison highly appreciated the show. Some had great stories to tell, some were stunner-tagged, some gentle spoken and some reeking of pure regret. The band came away with a little food for thought, inspiration for future material and a whole range of respect. Music will always connect creeds, no matter which roads we decide to take, and come out at the end united in perfect harmony. Even with the odd duff note or two..........
